Basic Turning Classes
A fun class for beginners or those looking to brush up on their skills.
Our Safety class is for one session with our instructor to ensure that you know the safe usage of the Lathe. This will go over the basics of turning and give you the ability to create a story stick or spindle. (up to 3 hours of instruction)
Our Mallet class includes the Safety class but goes further into the safe use of the lathe. In the end you will have a greater knowledge of turning and will go home with a mallet. (up to 5 hours of instruction)
Our Bowl class includes the Safety and Mallet classes and goes in depth on the safe and proper way to turn a bowl. (up to 9 hours of instruction)
In the end you will have a new appreciation (and maybe an addiction) for turning.
Dates and times to be worked out with the instructor. Sessions purchased for that month must be used before the end of that month unless previously agreed with the instructor.
